Anhui Youpu New Material Technology Co., Ltd., formerly known as Shanghai Youpu Plastic Co., Ltd., was established in 2002. As a high-tech enterprise in Shanghai, the company specializes in the production and R&D of smart card substrate materials, SIM card substrate materials, and high-grade playing card materials. Its products are sold both domestically and internationally.

In 2002, the company invested in a five-roll calender production line, primarily manufacturing base materials for various contact and contactless magnetic cards—such as mobile phone cards, credit cards, and phone cards—as well as high-quality printed sheets. In 2008, an additional production line, along with a complete set of testing and inspection equipment, was introduced, boosting the annual production capacity to over 10,000 tons. This established the company as one of the largest R&D and manufacturing enterprises of mid-to-high-end sheet materials in China.
